TIKTOK FAMOUS HONEYCOMB MAKGEOLI?!

I have been seeing this EVERYWHERE on tiktok and it was sth I. just. Have. To visit!!!! We went down after KBBQ without a reservation and got there at around 7.15pm. AND WAITED FOR AN HOUR IN THE RAIN AT 1 DEGREE KOREAN WINTER WEATHER!! I kid you not, it better be the best makgeoli I’ve ever tasted man.

Each bottle of makgeoli costs 10000₩ (~$10.70SGD) and each serving of honeycomb costs 4000₩ (~$4.5). The makgeoli bottle was sufficient for 4 of us!!

The honeycomb was a unique experience but tbh, I really didn’t like the residual wax on the honeycomb. And yes, it does complement the makgeoli well.

We also ordered a sharing portion of mixed pancakes (pajeon). Silly me thought it was those american style pancakes LOL. Nothing too spectacular to shout abt imo.

Verdict👀

SKIP!! Its good but its the sort of fad I don’t recommend queuing an hour for. JUST ADD HONEY TO YOUR MAKGEOLI!! And if you really want the whole experience, you can honeycomb on shopee for a rather reasonable price. # Eat good food not trends.
