My favorite cafe in Hoi An

I recently visited Hoi An and safe to say, it’s one of my favorite places I visited.

We passed by Faifo cafe while walking in Old Town and saw that many people were taking photos outside. We wondered in, wanting to just get some shade + cooling drinks for 5 minutes! Ended up staying longer than half an hour there 😼.

There is a corner on the 3rd floor (open space) where u can snap away pics. Super pretty and chio spot.

I ordered the Faifo special for my drink and shared a matcha cake. We all know Vietnamese coffee hits good so there’s no surprise that this drink slapped.

The best thing was the matcha cake. U know the feeling when u bite into matcha cake and regrets ur matcha-loving decision cuz that taste like medicine? This cake thou, was soft, pillow and custardy. The matcha was powerful but she didn’t try to overpower the rest of the ingredients.

Was on the pricier side for Vietnam cafes, spent about $12 for all 3 items but super worth it when compared back to sg!
