Rest days are JUST as important as the days you workout. Why? Because your body and muscles need time to recover and rest, without this, your muscles won’t be fully recovered and ready to crush your next workout. You’ll be too sore and tired to lift heavier and longer and your endurance will be decreased.

Now, I’m not saying don’t do anything on your rest days, this isn’t an excuse to just sit in bed all day (although we could all use those days sometimes). However, I’m a college student that has to balance work, school and content creating…

On my rest days, I take this time to really prioritize my homework so I can get it out of the way and not have to stress about it when deadlines come around. I also really deep clean the house, my room and bathroom. This way, it’s one less thing to worry about and also it keeps me from getting stressed. Cluttered mind = Cluttered house. Lastly, I also loveee to practice self care. At night I love to watch YouTube, light a candle and drink some tea. It’s super relaxing, and adding a face mask makes it even better!

Rest days are no excuse for lazy days, you can still be productive on these days!!
