Yummy Hot & Spicy Grilled Fish 🐟 in CBD

I was recently invited to have dinner with my friends at Tong Fu Ju Sichuan and we had a splendid time there ✨

What we ate:

🐟 Hot & Spicy Grilled Fish

This was the star of the meal & I highly recommend this flavour! Plus points given to the fact that it is not extremely oily and we could all drink the soup (unlike other grilled fish that I have tried) The soup was so flavourful I could not stop drinking it 🤣

🐓 Kung Bao Chicken

This dish was a good balance in our meal complementing the spicy fish. I was also eyeing the laziji dish (dry chilli chicken) but did not want too many spicy dishes in my meal.

🥬 Sambal Kang Kong

Classic vegetable dish and went well with rice 🍚

As someone who loves deals, I am happy to share that the grilled fish at TFJ was priced cheaper than other grilled fish restaurants 👀

To compare, the same grilled fish dish would cost around $50 typically.

As we all work in the CBD, the location being in Boat Quay was perfect for all of us!

🧠 Honest thoughts:

I highly recommend TJF and would bring my friends who are fans of Tanyu/ Chongqing grilled fish here and am excited to hear what they will have to say.

I personally feel that it is less oily than its competitors and tastes just as good, and would definitely dine here if I am craving for good grilled fish given its good location, ample space as well as price.
