One day it happened. I just stopped drinking and decided it just wasn't for me anymore at this point in my life. I've thought for years - oh I'll take cut off of drinking. And then it was always a holiday, or someones birthday, or taco tuesday with the girls, or a weekend away, or a weekend in general and I always had a 'reason' that I couldn't stop drinking then.
Until one day, I just decided the hangovers and feeling like poo weren't my favorite anymore. I'd get immediately tired and feel like a buzzkill for wanting to go home and sleep the second I started having a drink. So I just stopped.
And l've felt better than ever before and there are so many positives I found from deciding not to drink that I wanted to share!

- I drink healthier drinks
- I am more hydrated
- I get to bed earlier
- I sleep better
- I've learned how to have fun without alcohol
- I am more creative with dates
- I try more new hobbies
- I save lots of money
- I have less anxiety
- I'm not hungover the next day
- I am way more productive
- I have less regret the next day
- I am overall happier
- I have more energy daily
- I have a better night routine
- I feel better and healthier
I know those still aren't all the benefits, but a few that I notice on the day to day. Maybe I'll have a drink here soon.
