FREE FLOW rice, soup and salad?! 😵

Having heard rave reviews about Tonkatsu by Ma Maison, I decided to indulge in their set meal during a recent visit to their restaurant at Jewel Changi Airport. Known for their authentic Japanese tonkatsu, I was eager to experience the magic of this popular eatery and it did not disappoint 🫶🏻

I’m always there for the Hire Katsu. If I rmb correctly, there’s Hire and Loin (Loin is more chewy so I prefer Hire).

The pork cutlet had a perfectly crisp, golden-brown breadcrumb coating just goes so well with the tender, meat which is not overly greasy. Sauces are provided to pair with the meat too!

The set meal is accompanied by a bowl of fluffy rice, a side of finely shredded cabbage, and a bowl of tonjiru soup with lots of ingredients – which created a harmonious symphony of flavours. Did I mention that these sides were FREE to order as much as you want?!

Overall, although the prices are slightly higher but the food was amazing and they were super generous with the sides. Total worth every penny and you’ll def come back!
