Does the curling scrunchie work?

Recently saw a lot of heartless ways to curl your hair at home on Tiktok!! Then chanced upon this Singapore store that selling curling scrunchies but it was Soo expensive…

Saw the exact ones on Shopee and it was so cheap! Decided to buy it because it is the same

It comes with a lot of colours and I went for silk c which is dusty pink~

The trick to this is to tie high up on a bun so it will not intervene with your sleep.

After waking up, my bun got really messy and is not as high as when I tied it. Omg, it was so bad!!!

Look at my hair, there are zero curls and it looks worst than when I sleep without the hair scrunchie…

I do have stubborn straight hair but the sock method works, technically this should work as well. I tried a few times in case my tying method is wrong but the results are still … meh?

Overall, glad that I purchased the Shopee cheap version than the expensive one because it didn’t work on me.

I feel that this is only good for those with smooth, healthy and silky hair. ☹️
