TIPS FOR MODELS

Hey everyone!!!

I recently started modeling and here are some helpful tips to thoes joining!!! :

✨ ALWAYS HAVE YOUR COMP CARDS: many times you see a client, they want to have your comp card which is filled with your name, measurements, agency, and a picture of your face for remembrance.🪪

✨ LEARN TO WALK IN MULTIPLE HEELS: you never know what they will have you wear in a show or behind set. I’ve had to wear shoes that were too thin, thick, long, big, small, and more. Always be prepared to walk in anything! 👟🥿👠👢👡

✨ EAT HEALTHY: being a model means you need to take extra care of your body and health. Stay away from foods that will make you bloated before a shoot! 📸🥗

✨GET COMFORTABLE BEHIND THE CAMERA: your going to be behind the camera most of your time as a model. try to not be camera shy!!! 😏

✨LEARN TO SOLO TRAVEL: most of the time, you will be traveling alone. If this is your first time on a plane, watch videos of what to do in the airport to make it easier. ✈️🛫

✨LEARN SIMPLE POSES: posing is very important. Learn what angles and poses look good on you and simple go-to poses when you are standing, sitting, laying down, ect.

✨GET USED TO BEING TURNED DOWN: in this industry, you’ll probably get rejected more than accepted. And that’s okay! it’s never a reflection on you as a person! Many brands are looking for a specific look and just because you don’t fit that, doesn’t mean you aren’t a good model!
