Ingredients
-Olive oil
-Pasta
-Chicken broth
-Heavy cream
-Onion
-Butter
-Parmesan cheese-pecorino romano or asiago cheese
-Garlic
-Cajun seasoning( I also added a little lemon pepper to the salmon)
-Salt
-Salmon-make this with chicken, shrimp, or another fish like tilapia.
Preparations
1. Cook the pasta to your liking and set aside.
2. Heat a large skillet on medium heat and add olive oil and 1 to butter. Coat the salmon with 1 to Cajun seasoning( plus your favs) and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until cooked through. Set aside
3. In the same pan, add butter and onions.
Saute for a few minutes then add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
4. Add in heavy cream and chicken broth.
5. Bring to a gentle simmer then add in remaining Cajun seasoning (your favs) and parmesan cheese. Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
(Optional):Add veggies and pasta and cook for another minute until the (veggies) is wilted.
Top with salmon and more Parmesan!
