I’ve spent the past year trying to figure out what type of movement makes me feel like the best version of myself, and I think I’ve finally found a split that works for my body and my lifestyle. I’ve gone through so many phases of my workout journey since beginning it my freshman year of college. I’ve gone from cardio to only doing HIIT everyday to lifting lightweight a couple times a week to lifting heavy 5 days a week to walking a couple times a week to trying Pilates for the first time. I think it’s important that whatever type of movement you choose to do is something that you genuinely enjoy doing, and that your expectations for it are sustainable for your life. Just because some fitness influencers can spent 2 hours in the gym everyday doesn’t mean everyone can, and that’s okay. We all have different lives, bodies, and passions. Honor your individual spirit by investing time and energy into learning more about what type of movement feels the best for you 💕
