If you haven’t tried these yet, I definitely recommend giving it a try. I have officially added these to my leg day routine especially on my glute/hamstring-focused day of the week. I found that using the cable machine allows you to have more control and feel more balanced compared to using just dumbbells, which allows me to focus more on mind to muscle connection- to get a good stretch on my glutes (hinge movement).
Doing them slow and controlled for 4 sets, 8-12 reps depending on the weight. These will have your 🍑 on fire and grow that shelf!
