Pickled Onions

I had this giant jar full of peaches….once the jar was empty I had no clue what to do with it but I knew I wanted to keep it. Suddenly I decided to make pickled onions.

Recipe:

• 3 large red onions

•boiling water

• white vinegar

• sugar

• garlic

• whole peppercorns

1. Sliced the 3 large red onions

2. Poured 1.5 cups boiling hot water

3. Poured 1.5 cups white vinegar

4. 2 teaspoons of sugar

3. 1 tablespoon of minced garlic

5. Handful on peppercorns (I didn’t measure)

Let sit on the counter until room temperature and then move to the fridge. I put in the fridge overnight. They are absolutely amazing and it’s hard not to eat them with every meal.
