Hey everyone! Here is a really yummy cheesy garlic bread from scratch. Crispy on the outside, soft,cheesy on the inside and garlicky on the top🤤 Let’s get started~
Ingredients:
Bread dough-
250g all-purpose flour
20g sugar
3g salt
4g of yeast
75g milk
75g water
20g melted unsalted butter
Garlic butter:
40g room temperature unsalted butter
70g minced garlic
1 tbsp mayo
1 tbsp pesto(optional)
1g parsley (optional)
1g salt
Cheese filling:
2 wedges laughing cow cheese
75g mozzarella cheese
Dough~
Step 1: Mix the flour, sugar, salt and yeast
Step 2: Add in the milk, water and melted butter
Step 3: Mix well to form a dough. Knead the dough for about 5 mins
Step 4: Leave the dough to rest in the bowl for about 1 hour
Garlic butter~
Step 5: Mix the garlic, butter, pesto, parsley and salt together to make garlic butter.
Cheese filling~
Step 6: Mix mozzarella cheese with laughing cow cheese wedge to make the cheese filling
Step 7: After resting, take the dough out and split it into two. Roll the dough and make it abt 0.5cm thin.
Step 8: Add the cheese filling and fold it into a rectangle shape
Step 9: Spread a generous amount of garlic butter, make sure to put more than you think is enough as a thin layer of garlic spread might result to it burning while baking. Cut the dough up into squares.
Step 10: Bake for 20mins at 190°c
