10000 sqft MEGA GYM 😱 Anytime Fitness City Hall ✨

Hi gymrats 🐀🏋️‍♀️ This week on our quest to explore all 90+ Anytime Fitness outlets, we were invited to the opening/ media preview of the newest AF outlet, AF City Hall! 🥳🥳🎉 I was really surprised when we got the invitation (started jumping up n down pls I screenshotted and sent Zaf immediately) because we were doing this for fun.. Very thankful that our content is being ✨appreciated✨

📍LOCATION

• Address: Anytime Fitness City Hall

• Located in CityLink mall conveniently in the walkway between 🔴🟢 City Hall MRT 🚆 and 🟡 Esplanade MRT 🚆

• Rain or shine can access 😎👍 No sweaty walks under sun or wet shoes it rain

• What’s nearby?: Marina Square, Funan, Suntec City, Esplanade, National Gallery

• Given it’s location we’re guessing demographic wise there’ll be a lot of office workers from around the area? 🧑‍💻

🤔 FIRST IMPRESSIONS

• We walked past the previous UFC gym lots of times but never went in, and this time when we stepped in… We were at a loss for words lmaoo it was huge

• At 10,000 sq ft, this is the largest AF outlet in Singapore! There were a few times i lost zaf and couldn’t find him bc the gym was THIS big 😭😭

• It had the ✨fresh car✨ smell as the machines were all newly installed 🚗

• We loved the full black machines that gave the gym a very cohesive and monochrome look 😫

• Unique tall cubby holes and tyre flip machine 🛞 was what caught our eye when we first entered!

• Lighting is amazing and we loved the privacy stickers so when you gym you don’t feel like a zoo animal with everyone walking past peeking in 🥰

🛀 LOCKERS & WASHROOMS

• Lockers located in the washroom, 48 for males and 48 for females!

• 72 tall cubby holes located outside the washroom

• Toilets separated by gender, 6 showers & 4 toilets

• Amenities inside: dyson hairdryer x1, soap, shampoo 🧽🧼💦

• Locker area and toilets were clean and fresh (just opened so understandable!)

⏰ PEAK HOURS

• CityLink mall isn’t open 24/7, but you can access the gym after closing hours via a walkway to the carpark (video directions pinned on AF City Hall’s IG)

• Gym just opened so no info on peak hours 🥹 sorrie….

💌OTHER INFO

• PT available 👍

• 7 different types of classes from Mon - Fri 👯: Metcon (metabolic condition aka strength + cardio conditioning), Pilates, Bodycombat (martial arts workout?), ABT (abs, butt, thighs), Muay Thai, Yoga and Zumba

• Variety is pretty huge, afternoon + evening classes!

• Dyson hairdryer is a plus point 💆🏻‍♀️

• This franchise gym’s sister outlets: Marine Parade & Tanjong Pagar 💖

🌀POSSIBLE DOWNSIDES?

• Given how it’s the biggest AF in Singapore, we were honestly hoping to see more DL platforms (Bugis is smaller but has 5 DL platforms) 🤔

• They hyped up the opening a lot so it may be crowded!

• Additional services - can be improved on but since the gym just opened, the franchise owner may bring in more perks for members in the future! 🤓

💬FINAL THOUGHTS

• AF City Hall is definitely one of the top outlets that we’ve been to 😫😫

• 🚆 Accessibility - indoor walk directly connected to 3 MRT lines in city central

• 🔧 Equipment - with so many diff equipment available, it’s basically a playground for adults.

• Rarely-seen machines - tyre flip, booty builder, curved treadmill, prone leg curl, x2 jungle gyms 🤩

• Space - It’s so spacious it’s the size of around 8 5-room HDB flats! Even during peak hours, you’re sure to still have space to walk around without needed to dodge people. Layout makes sense!

• ⚠️ Disclaimer: Rating for this gym is pretty high up but we recognise this is because it literally just opened, so understandably equipment and cleanliness rating is 5/5. As time passes, ratings may change!

• Good outlet to escape the Bugis crowd…

• Must visit? YES. You’re losing out if you don’t 🤩🤩
