I was super excited to try these highly raved orh nee tarts. I was definitely impressed when I was first took a bite because these really melt in your mouth and have an amazing texture. The pastry was super buttery and firm yet it just melts on your tongue, leaving a pleasant aftertaste. I would say that the orh nee filling wasn’t as strong to me in the first place when I had them the first 3 days at room temperature but somehow after slighting heating them up in the air fryer on day 4, the orh nee paste became a lot more fragrant and reminiscent of the orh nee that I was familiar with. In terms of price, it definitely ain’t cheap but it is something I see myself purchasing again especially during CNY to feed guests who don’t really like pineapple tarts and prefer orh nee instead.

Quite skeptical to try their cookies as they are not really known for it but I’m glad I did. It was a chunky and decadent cookie with a nice crunch on the outside and a fudge and chewy interior.
