Cleansing Balm vs Cleansing Oil !

Which team are you on? 🥊🎽

Personally, I am a Cleansing Balm person, let me explain why. don’t get me wrong! Both balm and oil does its job in removing my makeup or any surface level of impurities before i dive in with my cleanser however i feel that balm does its job better (esp when it comes to heavy makeup). no doubt, cleansing oils are more convenient as they come mostly in a pump form and it does get a little messy when I use the balm. However i just feel that my face feels nicer and “lighter” after using a balm as compared to the oil.

nonetheless both still does its job!!

🧼 Banila Co. Clean It Zero cleansing balm (Original) : my favourite and literally the OG of cleansing balm this is actually my 3rd/4th tub already!! i recommend it to all skin types, it does its job, it isn’t harsh and its fragrance isn’t overpowering either! 5/5 stars

🧼 I’M FROM Fig Cleansing Balm : It does its job in cleansing as well and it would be my backup cleanser! even though it does its job and all i think what this loses out on as compared to Banila Co’s would be the scent, although its a rather nice smell, it does come off stronger than Banila co’s! 4.5/5 stars

🧴Dear Klairs Gentle Black Fresh Cleansing Oil : A decent cleansing oil that gets the basic job done!! it leaves my skin relatively nice but i still do prefer how the balm makes my skin feel after! and of course i don’t think this will be good enough for heavy makeup so do be aware and consider using a balm to remove heavy make up!! suitable for all skin types! 3.8/5 stars!
