*Disclaimer* No one needs any sort of enhancements to their body and if you choose to do any of these procedures, it is extremely important to do your research. I want to be honest and open about what I have done because I think it’s extremely important to be transparent with procedures. Educate yourself on possible side effects and look for qualified doctors/RNs/aestheticians.

1) Lip Filler💋

I received .6ml (half syringe) of Juvederm Ultra with most of the product put into my top lip. This COMPLETELY boosted my self-esteem and makes me so excited to put on lip products during my makeup routine. It also allows me to have less of a “gummy” smile which I love. The only reason I give it a 9/10 is because lip filler almost always migrate at some point and needs to be dissolved. When this happens, it’s good to just dissolve it and re-start.

2) InMode EvolveX👎🏻

This treatment has yet to show me any real results. There is not much clinical research behind this treatment. It takes up a lot of time (1 hour every week for 6 weeks). It was an uncomfortable treatment for me as I have forward-set ribs and the muscle stimulation hurt my rib bones. The heat was a lot and overall would not recommend. I think the price is ridiculous (luckily I didn’t have to pay.) I would say 100% skip this treatment. 0/10

3) SkinPen Microneedling👏🏼

I have struggled on and off with hormonal acne since I hit puberty. I receive deep cystic acne on my jaw line, cheeks, and chin. I finally have my skin under control and rarely ever get acne anymore. Cystic acne can leave behind acne scarring in which I have both pigmentation marks and minor “ice picks” indentations. SkinPen Micro-needling has been amazing at softening the indentations and overall skin rejuvenation. I typically have it done once a year. 8/10 as it is better for texture versus discoloration.

4) CoolSculpting👙

I have had 1 session of CoolSculpting on my lower abdomen. Once I hit age 23 my metabolism started to slow down. I carry most of my weight in my butt but was starting to gain some in my lower abdomen. This is one of the most difficult areas to lose weight as a woman even with proper nutrition and exercise. The treatment took one hour. Afterwards the area felt sore (almost like someone had punched me in the gut) and stayed sore for 4-5 days post treatment. I noticed around the 2 month mark that a lot of the weight in that area diminished. I rate it an 8.5/10 because the procedure can be uncomfortable, and although it it helps get rid of fat, it won’t completely take it away such as liposuction.

5) Botox 💉

Sorry not sorry, I love Botox. If you go see an experienced injector who uses a conservative mindset, I think the results can be really natural. I receive 18 units total in my forehead between the glabella and between the brows. I used to do it every 3 months but I have been waiting every 5-6 months as I’m still young (26) and would still like subtle muscle movements. 10/10
