How you can use Florida Water 💧

Florida water is one of those staples that you want to keep in stock at home if you incorporate spiritual practices in your every-day life. It can do so much and you don’t need a lot to work with it.

Florida water isn’t exactly water, it’s a cologne used for any gender that was inspired by the fountain of youth said to be located in Florida.

It began being sold in corner stores in New York, which ended up being used as after shave or light perfume for women, but it’s so much more than that.

*I actually have childhood memories of my mom pulling up to bodegas/corner stores in Brooklyn to get Florida water lol this was the 90s.*

Florida water can help you purify and cleanse the energies around you, physical objects, your clothes, your windows, and mirrors and floors, and all you need is a splash of it.

A lot of people recommend adding a splash to a bath and that seems to be the standard way to use it today, but I’m going to leave some other ways that you can use Florida water to your advantage for your spiritual practices:

💧Add a splash to washing machine to cleanse clothing which cleanses your energetic field as you put it on

💧 Add a splash of it to your mop water so that you’re doing a floor wash. Floor washes are pretty typical in most culturally spiritual practices. The best way to do this is to start from the back of your home and work your way to the front towards the door and making sure that the energy is leaving your front door out of your home. You can still crack your windows, or even crack, the door to let any energies out here to people believe in that, you can also see where you can type of sacral smoke to add to that energy of purifying your home/space. Open cabinets and closets too if you’ll be smudging Sage or incense.

💧Take some in your hands, or add to a spray bottle and spray on the crown of your head. This will help activate your crown, as well as cleanse it so that you were able to receive downloads in messages, you’re able to activate your spiritual gifts, you’re able to use your intuition more and it also helps lighten your energetics field. For example; When you feel a headache coming on and you can’t figure out where it’s coming from but it feels like head pressure and you just have a weird feeling, spray a little bit of that and it’ll help cleanse that energy out.

💧 Rub some on your dashboard and steering wheel to protect you from law-enforcement, or any harm on the road. It all depends on the intention to set when it comes to doing all this work anyway. Some tools work stronger than others, but this will help activate it-Any negative energy that would lead you to a situation like that. This is alleged.

💧 Add a bit to your headboard or the other side of your pillow to protect your crown and your energy from psychic attacks while you sleep. You can also add this to your head scarf if you wear one. The scarf would tie in with the laundry as mentioned above.

💧 When you’re burning sage, sometimes it’s hard to actually put it out but what I always do (and please be safe doing this) is out the sage with Florida water. That way when it’s outed, the smoke that rises smells like Florida water and Sage, which is double the Cleansing energy. When you end up lighting the stage again after it dries, it will smell like Florida water as well and it just smells really good. A win-win 😌
