MONTREAL OOTD + BOTANIC GARDENS

🌷Here’s my OOTD to visit / walk around the Montreal Botanical Garden🌷

🌷Outfit Details🌷

✨My corset is an older style from a brand called Valley Girl! My older cousin got this in the 90’s and kindly donated it to me. You can find similar styles on sites like Amazon or Depop by searching “strapless black corset top”.

✨Under my sheer skirt, I wore a pair of black Nike Pro Women's 3" Shorts (Size XS, SKU CZ9857-010). I love how seamlessly this blends into the outfit and how it’s barely noticeable!

✨My sheer skirt is from the ‘Intimately’ brand of Free People. I actually got this at a discount fashion warehouse for less than $15, such a steal! This style isn’t available on the website anymore, but check out the other maxi skirts in the Intimately collection for similar styles!

✨My boots are the Maria boots from Dan Post (Size 5.5, SKU DP3200). I wear these boots with literally everything, 100% worth the price!

🌷My day in the Botantic Gardens / Montreal🌷

✨Me and my friends decided to check out the Botanic Gardens! After visiting, I rate the gardens an 8/10. It was absolutely beautiful, but I did expect there to be more actual flowers, rather than other things like sculptures or lakes. However, I def think it was worth the price (Student admission: $16, Adult admission: $22) and I would for sure go back!

✨My friends and I had a picnic near one of the lakes at the garden! We brought lots of fresh fruit, cured meats, and cheese to make a little charcuterie board. This turned out to be such a good idea and I would definetly recommend doing something like this in a park near you while the weather is still nice!

✨We also decided to take our digital cameras to get some cute Instagram/Lemon8 pictures :) We chose to take most of our picture on this little bridge we found (shown in pictures 1 and 2 of this post) that allowed people to cross over a stream in the garden. They came out so good and I’m so glad I got content of my outfit!

✨The last activity we did was explore the neighborhood around the Gardens. We went into a cute coffee shop and checked out some of the thrift stores as well. Montreal thrift stores had some pretty great finds and prices!
