1. Self Care

a. Skin care: you look good you feel good

b. Journaling helps you be more articulate by working out your thoughts through self reflection

c. Therapy: Undiagnosed and untreated mental illness can interrupt your life in a drastic way and negatively affect your grades. TMI but recently diagnosing and treating my bpd, depression, and ADHD have helped me manage misconceptions such as being dumb, being lazy, dramatic, etc. Mental illness can cause procrastinating behavior.

d. Stressors: having too much stress long term in unhealthy. Identifying your stressors and working through solutions is important. For example, having a finances cause stress to many college students. Voicing this concern or even mentioning you are looking for jobs can result in resources coming your way.

e. A healthy diet leads to energy, and apparently the microbiome interacts with our mental healthy according to my neuro textbooks

4. Discipline is a manner of self love because you are keeping promises you made to yourself. Identify where you lack discipline (ex. Working out, going to church, going to class, going to sleep at a reasonable hour….) and improvements there will lead to improvements everywhere else.

5. Study habits are simple and effective when done together. The only thing I would add is to be surrounded by people you have qualities you admire and wish to possess. Being your best self is the goal <3
