"I want God to show me my purpose"

On Matthew 1:18 talked about the birth of Jesus Christ and how Mary and Joseph were chosen to fulfill the mission of raising our Lord Jesus.

They were chosen by the Lord for a task, and they showed faith and obedience following God's plans. It was a huge task and I know we sometimes wonder: what is God big task for me?

Well if you check a little further on Matthew 28:18-20 says: And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

We spend so much time trying to figure it out what it’s our mission on earth or what big task God has for us, and yes He has a specific calling for everybody, but before anything else, our one mission is: to serve God and His people.

No matter what we do, in what area you work with, the gifts you have, as Christians we are here for one thing: to spread the Gospel, the seed, the word of God!

And that’s why God gave me this business, while I was seeking Him, He showed me my gifts and how I was supposed to use them. Now my creativity and art is a tool to spread His word. He needs it? No. But He chose us to help Him to spread the gospel and be the light of this world.

So the next time you wonder what’s your purpose on earth. go back to the word of God. He left our purpose well defined a long time ago.
