Lets get real about mental health

Mental health stigma transcends race, gender, and culture. Growing up seeking mental health help was taboo. We never discussed our feelings and my family didn’t think depression was a real thing.

Even in society people are taught to just keep pushing and not take care of ourselves. As I got older, I had to completely shift my mindset and be courageous and seek help for my anxiety.

Let’s change the narrative and start being kind to our mind.
