* 1 1/2 lbs chicken tenders, seasoned
* Buttermilk, about 1 1/4 cup (just enough to cover tenders)
* 3 eggs, beaten
* 2-3 tbsp hot sauce
* 3/4 cup all purpose flour
* 1/2 cup cornstarch
* 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
* Canola oil, for frying
Seasonings
* Garlic powder
* Onion powder
* Cayenne pepper
* Parsley
* Pepper
* Seasoning Salt
* Paprika
* Chicken bouillon
Bang Bang Sauce
* 1 1/4 cup mayonnaise
* 3 tbsp sriracha
* 1/2 cup Thai chili sauce
* 1 tbsp honey, to balance sweetness
Oil Temperature: 350F
Fry Time: 5-7 minutes
1. Dump your chicken in a bowl and season with all the seasonings listed above.
2. Add a little bit of oil spray or oil to your chicken to help seasonings spread evenly.
3. Pour your buttermilk on top until your chicken is covered. Add hot sauce. Mix a bit and cover. Place in fridge for 30-60 minutes in the fridge.
4. In two separate dishes/pans/plates. Add your panko breadcrumbs and flour + cornstarch.
5. Season your flour with seasonings above and mix.
6. Once your chicken is marinated, take one by one and drip excess milk off.
7. Dip in flour,egg, then panko. Repeat.
Tip: Set tenders on cooking rack to rest for 5 minutes before frying.
8. Heat oil to 350F.
9. Once oil is ready, drop your tenders in.
10. Fry for 5-7 minutes until golden brown on outside.
11. Take tenders out and repeat with all tenders. I fried them in three batches total.
12. Drain excess oil from tenders.
13. In a bowl, start making your bang bang sauce.
14. Add mayo, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and parsley. Whisk together until combined.
15. Add your tenders to sauce and toss to coat.
16. Serve with fries and your choice of dipping sauce or just dive right in! ❤️
