🇰🇷 Jeju Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls - Is it worth it? 🤔

Jeju is known for their beautiful sceneries of lava rocks/cliffs, stunning beaches and waterfalls 💧

There are 2 iconic waterfalls in Jeju:

- Jeongbang Waterfalls

- Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls

It was our first time to Jeju so ofc we had to visit them! They are both just a short drive away from each other btw! We went to Jeongbang Waterfalls first and WE LOVED IT. We had to climb a flight of stairs down but it was acceptable, and the view made it totally worth it 😍

So we thought hey! Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls might be even more beautiful! But turns out…. :( #UnpopularOpinion

Cheonjeyeon has 3 main waterfalls, when we reached the first one there was no cascading waterfall 😢 then we saw a sign that states there will only be waterfall when there’s a heavy downpour, but if there’s a heavy downpour how are we gonna visit it 😭😭😭

So we climbed down to the 2nd waterfall, and it was HMMM ALRIGHT? probably not to our expectations after visiting Jeongbang Waterfall.

Then we went to the 3rd one and the stairs was INSANE. I mean Korea are known for their stairs so we sorta expected the stairs. But when we reached the 3rd one it was so tiny 🥲🥲 We felt our effort and energy spent on climbing the stairs weren’t paid off 😪

So will we go back again? No ❌

But if you haven’t been to it before, you should still visit it just to tick off your bucket list! ✅ It is still beautiful nonetheless, just that we will not spend the amt of energy climbing the stairs for it again 😂😂😂
