Did I go about this the right way about this?

About an hour ago I had sent that text to my ex just so I could let him know how I felt about the situation.

For context this is a dude I’ve been off and on with since 2019, We’ve never had broken up for any bad reason other than life getting in the way. Long story short about two weeks ago we had recently started talking again then we had s3x that same day and things hasn’t been the same. He doesn’t check in on me or anything like that.. his cousin tells me that I need to be loud and get his attention since he’s very much so introverted and isn’t really a social person.. he told me that he wanted to be friends and work our way back into a relationship but I feel as if he isn’t trying even in the slightest to talk to me. I feel more hurt than upset because I really love and respect this guy what should I do???
