Piccadilly Cafe Review - Worth the visit?

Hey y’all, I’m back again with another cafe recommendation in the heart of KL. This 2 level cafe ticks off all the criteria of being the latest hottest cafe in town. Piccadilly Cafe offers a wide range of menu serving from heavy meals, dessert and pastries. They also offer caffeinated and non caffeinated beverages. In addition to that, the shop is absolutely instagram- worthy from every angle.

It’s a fairly newly opened cafe hence we were expecting a crowd but to my surprise, we were the only customers in the shop. Tip: Go on weekdays haha. Since we already had lunch before coming, we decided to try out their desserts and drinks.

We got the lemon loaf and the chocolate cake. For our drinks, we ordered a caramel latte and an iced matcha. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced, what’s there to complain about? It opens as early as 8am and closes as late as 10pm so you can come in for either breakfast, lunch or dinner to drop a visit. It can be fairly difficult to find a parking spot so the easiest option is to get an LRT and get down at Masjid Jamek then take a 5 min walk to the shop.

I coincidentally matched with the aesthetic of the shop. My outfit was made up of very neutral colours and statement pieces. I paired a beige blazer with a basic white tee and a pair of black pants. I decided to pair the whole outfit with a pair of white sneakers to give it a sporty-chic look.

I would definitely drop by again to try out the meals next time and reorder the desserts. The shop is ideal if you want to have a quick catchup with friends or family in a nice, cosy setting.
