the viral salt bread in korea 😍

korea’s salt breads have been the rave of all times and so we decided we really had to try it this trip and just joined the queue! We went to Jayeondo Salt Bread & Jayeondoga 자연도소금빵&자연도가 - the one at ikseondong hanok village and honestly, we were prepared to queue for quite awhile but surprisingly it was very fast and took about 15mins only?

So we got the signature salt bread which was $12 for 4 pieces (kinda ex tbh cuz its not exactly super big either…) BUT i would say it really living up to the hype because it actually was delicious! i was kinda skeptical at first, cuz like how nice can salt + bread taste right? but it actually was really good and imo it tasted more buttery instead of salty, with only a slight hint of saltiness. Overall, i would say it had the nice buttery smell and taste and the taste of salt just complimented the taste.

My final verdict: worth the try but given the price, probably only worth the try just once!
