my dec cafe recos 🍹

here are some cafes that i finally tried out recently and enjoyed~

Hello Arigato Bukit Timah

they finally opened one in the west so i headed down to try out since there was a hype for it and i have to say it was definitely not disappointing 😍 we got their famous sandos and hokkaido milk carbonara which was absolutely delicious 🥺 but i have to say my favourite has to be the shibuya toast 🤩 the hokkaido ice cream was just simply amazing and im defo going back there to eat it again

Rise Bakehouse @ TripleOne Somerset

i went to the somerset outlet after all the hype and once again it did not disappoint~ i thought the teacake looked pretty dry but srsly it was not!! the sweetness and softness were just right and as a avid cake lover, i really found it amazing 🥰 even the osmanthus oolong cake was delicious where i could taste the oolong in it,, one downside imo would be the drinks where i found the strawberry watermelon spitz combi kinda weird and not to my taste

CAFE KREAMS

i am defo vv late to the hype for this cafe but i was absolutely amazed but the interior the moment i stepped into the cafe,, literally felt so magical 😍 now on to the desserts… the crepe cake was pretty good and even the tiramisu (im not a coffee lover) was nice!! but i have to say i was very disappointed in the drinks… we ordered the honey oat latte which merely just tasted like normal latte while the fruity orange mocktail tasted like oranhe syrup 😭 wasn’t even worth its price… but otherwise the cafe vibes was amazing to just chill and hang out with friends!

SOD Cafe

this was a small cafe tucked away in thomson and i have to admit it was a pretty good find!! it was my first time trying out tater tots with maple syrup and it surprisingly went really well together 🫢 the waffles were pretty nice and crispy as well ans while the ice lemonade was on the sweeter side, it was still refreshing for the hot day 🥵
