20K STEPS ABROAD IS NO KICK WITH COMFY SHOES👟🤪

If you’re like me and you’re looking for a pair of comfy shoes for long hours of walking overseas, or you generally get turned off by the idea of tying shoelaces & having feet sweat, you definitely need to read this post!🥹

I recently discovered this new shoe brand Duozoulu that seems to address these problems and goodness — I’m so glad I tried their shoes. It is truly the softest, most lightweight & most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever tried?! 🥹☁️💙✨!!!

Duozoulu is basically a China-hailed brand which literally means “Walk More”. At first sight, you might not think much of it because we haven’t heard of it here yet, but a little research and you’ll see that they’ve actually 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 100 𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗘𝗦 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗𝗪𝗜𝗗𝗘 and are a huge cult favourite amongst the Chinese. I can see why after trying them out - and so did many other Singaporeans because the store was crazy crowded when I went (with some sizes being out of stock even).

Duozoulu has a variety of sneakers and sandals, and all of them are priced really affordably from 𝗮𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝘀 $39 𝘁𝗼 $79?! I tried out a few pairs at the store and these are some things I noticed about their sneakers:

✧ THEY’RE EXTREMELY 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘: Their footwear are made of mesh-like material (which is apparently called TechKnit) which encourages air circulation, great for people with sweaty feet!! Esp if you have to walk long hours & hate that sweaty smelly feet feeling….

✧ EXTRA 𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗪𝗘𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 WITH 𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗭𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗨𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗟-𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗟𝗬: i was honestly so kind blown by how lightweight the shoes were?! The cushioning is also pretty good, so clocking steps wouldn’t be as tiring especially when you’re abroad! I always have this issue where my bulky shoes make my feet extra sore when I’m overseas lol….. and this basically solves that issue.

✧ SUPER EASY TO WEAR (𝗦𝗟𝗜𝗣 𝗢𝗡, 𝗡𝗢 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗜𝗘 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗘𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗦): This was the key highlight for me!!!! Slipping on this pair of shoes is crazy fast like 1S MAYBE???? 🤩 I generally don’t enjoy wearing shoes because I get quite turned off by the idea of my shoelaces getting untied halfway (URGH 🙄) & im always in a rush - shoelaces just make the entire process of leaving the house more time consuming lol. This solves it for me as I can just slip my feet in!

And having tried them all, here are my top 2 recommendations:

☁️ Kashiwa Sato Cloud Sneaker ($69)

this was the first pair I tried and WOW. I was mind-blown. When they said it would feel lighter than an egg, I really thought they were exaggerating but NOPE… these features of the shoes really got my heart going💓

✧ 100% 𝗙𝗜𝗧: woven with elastic yarn, it hugs my feet super nicely like a mould!!! super amazed by the fit 😍

✧ 𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡 𝗘𝗚𝗚: This was crazy light! Amongst all that I tried, this was the lightest of all. It’s super comfortable, felt like I wasn’t wearing any footwear tbh! ☺️ To put it in better terms, it’s like a good foundation that just feels like skin.

✧ 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗦 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗔 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗜 𝗦𝗜𝗭𝗘: parents can matchy matchy with their kids!!!!

✧ BTW this is 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! it’s apparently their best seller item as it’s a collaboration item between Duozoulu & Japanese famous artist Kashiwa Sato

☁️ Thick Platform Sneakers ($79)

BUT THIS, was ultimately the pair that I picked, and the one that I was eye-ing from the start actually 🤣 This comes in a LOT of shades, as you can see so you’ll be super spoilt for choice.

To every 150+cm gurlie, you will definitely love this. On top of being so utterly lightweight, comfortable & breathable, this was a huge win for me because…

✧ 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗦 𝗠𝗬 𝗛𝗘𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧: this makes me look hella tall ngl 😍

✧ 𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗥𝗔 𝗔𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗖: amongst all the shoe options, this one caught my attention the most. It looks extra stylish & trendy and I can totally see myself pulling it off regardless of whether I want to wear it on my lupsup days or go out for a date! 🥰

As you can see, my final pick was the ☁️ Thick Platform Sneakers ☁️ in cream/black. Everyone knows that I’m the kinda girl who loves to wear slippers because I absolutely hate the feeling of sweaty feet & process of tying shoelaces. But now that I got this pair of shoes, I’ve actually been wearing it more often!!!

It’s really soooo comfortable that I’m actually going to get one for my bf so that we can matchy matchy hehe (his size was OOS when I was there 😢) He has stinky feet so LOL he definitely needs this, and we’ve been looking out for couple shoes anyways!!
