My hair was honestly in a pretty bad state - shade wise it was extremely yellow 🥺 with Chinese new year coming, I knew it was my calling to do something new.

Decided to go in with a new hair colour I never tried before - 🧋milk tea balayage🧋recommended by my hair stylist, hair treatment 💧 (just back from overseas so while my hair isn’t as dry as usual I definitely needed some hair nourishment if I wanted to bleach my hair), and of course a quick hair trim ✂️.

I’ve bleached my hair twice so far in 2022, so to prepare my hair I had previously gotten their 3 set (shampoo + conditioner + hair primer) Milbon premium revitalizing hair treatment. And surprisingly, it works! I was expecting my hair to break from the bleaching process but it withstand the bleaching really well and turned into a super pretty blond shade.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀:

you can view the video process here! ~ not gonna lie but it does take up a fair bit of time, I sat at the salon for a good 6 hours.

But as you can see, 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚝𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚜𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚖𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝚘𝚏 𝚖𝚢 𝚑𝚊𝚒𝚛 𝚏𝚛𝚘𝚖 𝚕𝚒𝚊𝚗𝚣 𝚝𝚘 𝚙𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚕 𝚖𝚒𝚕𝚔 𝚝𝚎𝚊 𝚋𝚊𝚕𝚊𝚢𝚊𝚐𝚎 𝚒𝚜 𝚋𝚎𝚢𝚘𝚗𝚍 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚍𝚜 𝚋𝚎𝚊𝚞𝚝𝚒𝚏𝚞𝚕🥹✨✨✨ — from the top to bottom, the shade of it goes lighter and has gradient air touch vibes: it gradually changes from dark brown to pastel milk tea brown. the turn out carried hints of ash brown, grey, blonde, resulting in a pretty milk tea shade that is indescribable. It would definitely suit any of you girls who are looking to do something special but not too crazy 🤍

As for the hair treatment process, i tried the NEW 5-step treatment that Hube recently adopted. I’ve talked about this on Lemon8 before where I shared my first time experience , and I promise you that this treatment feels like no other for me. It really helped my hair stay saned & nourished during the winter!! The process took 1 hour and my hair was extremely silky, smooth & hydrated 🥺🥰❤️✨ so much better than the knotted version you see in my existing infographics lol!

~ I’ve seen so many people fail terribly at getting the balayage effect they want, but I think Hube Hair Salon does pretty well at helping me attain what I’m looking for most of the time! My hair stylist, Jay, always seem to know what exactly I want and he is able to transform my hair super well ☺️ likewise, their latest treatment is way too underrated - I love how silky smooth it has made my hair so definitely highly recommend that!

𝗔𝗻𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀? ⚠️

Honestly, location wise it is not the most convenient but service wise, it’s good & worth the money.

As with all bleached hair, the colour did fade — I like that it turned into a pretty blondish brown ☺️ You definitely need to use purple shampoo if you want to get rid of the hints of yellowness ~

Of course, if colouring your hair milk tea isn’t your cup of tea (that pun) 🧋, you can also consider doing pink balayage or other shades of balayage! 😇 The salon is an expert at doing that and the turn out is always super gorg, my pink balayage lasted for a few months the last time I did it
