Underrated premium sushi hidden gem 🍣

All my friends know that I’m a super HUGE fan of sushi and this time, I brought my friend to eat En Sushi ❤️

Located at Bugis, En Sushi is a contemporary Japanese restaurant with an extensive menu of cooked Japanese food and fresh sashimi. They sometimes have special dishes too like Black Squid Pasta.

Here’s my review on some of the items I’ve tried, with the 🌟 signifying my my must-tries!

🍣Chirashi Don $19.90 🌟

- What it is: contains Salmon, torched salmon belly, maguro, hamachi, mekajiki, hotate, ikura, tako, tamago with rice

- fresh sashimi? thick cuts? 😌 yes please! has a good number of sashimi pieces, so tasty 😛!

- rating: 8.5/10

🍣Salmon Aburi Mentai Maki $16.90 🌟

- What it is: Avocado, crab stick and cucumber in torched salmon rice roll

- The slight torching and sprinkle of mentai sauce adds to the flavour of the sushi, almost reminds me of genki sushi’s mentai roll but this one is way tastier 💯 You can’t go wrong!

- also tried the Ebi Salmon Aburi Maki ($17.90) but I didn’t like it because I’m not a fan of ebi prawn hehe 😣

- rating: 8.5/10

🍣 Salmon Aburi Mentai Don $16.90

- What it is: Torched salmon and fish roe with rice

- Slices of sashimi used were extremely thin. Pretty average bowl of Salmon Aburi Mentai Don, gotta say my expectations for this was super high but the pieces were so thin compared to those in Chirashi Bowl. Super disappointed. 😭

- rating: 6.5/10

🍣 Chawamushi $2.90

- What it is: steam egg with crabstick and mushroom

- average bowl of chawamushi, but love eating this together with my donburi 😌

- rating: 7/10

Overall, En Sushi serves a variety of yummy food items. Go down and try it out for yourself and I’m sure you’ll understand why I say that it’s underrated! 😗
