Is Sen Ryo Sushi worth the 2 month wait 👄⁉️

☎️ Calling all sushi lovers out there, you gotta try this sushi place! ☎️

I’ve heard about Sen Ryo Sushi for the longest time but didn’t know how popular it was until I saw their reservation system 🥲 It’s crazy but you actually have to 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝟮 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲. Anyways I did and decided to bring my bf out on a sushi date 😗Heh we are ultimate sushi lovers afterall!

The interior of Sen Ryo Sushi is rather cozy and you can choose whether you’d like your own table or a bar table.

My boyfriend and I ended up trying a variety of dishes at Sen Ryo Sushi itself.

These are my must tries:

🍣 Premium Sen Ryo Sushi Platter ($32.80)

🍣 Deluxe Sashimi Platter ($39.80)

🍣 Sen Ryo Temaki ($9.80 ea)

You would notice that my picks are actually mostly sashimi related and that’s really because the sushi at Sen Ryo is just fresh beyond words 🤩 The sashimi here is flown from Japan and literally 𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵…. My mouth is watering at the thought of it 😛 The slices were super 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸 and 𝗷𝘂𝗶𝗰𝘆. I also liked how the platters had a good 𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗶 including 𝗳𝗮𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗮 & 𝘂𝗻𝗶?! Really slurps 😗 The Sen Ryo Temaki was also v yumza, you can totally taste the richness of the uni 🥹

I also tried several other dishes, namely the 🫖Teapot Clam Soup, 🍳Chawanmushi, 🍜Hot Udon and 🍨Yuzu Sorbet.

I didn’t really like the 🍜Hot Udon because the noodle was 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻. As for the 🍨Yuzu Sorbet, it was a lil 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿 (I mean that’s what sorbet is HAAH sour ice cream 😜.

The 🫖Tea Pot Soup was 𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 like scallop, mushroom, clams (very homely) while the 🍳Chawanmushi had the 𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 prawn, mushroom and ginko nut. While I liked these, I’d rather spend my money to eat more sushi 🥰

Total damage: $170 💸💸💸 but worth every penny. Highly recommended and definitely coming back again 🌟💫🤩

Sen Ryo Sushi also offers lunch sets which are more value-for-money on weekdays, and that also explains why these slots tend to be fully reserved as compared to dinner. You can consider coming here during lunch time for more affordable deals! 💕
