do many of you throw away your broccoli stems because it's hard and not as delicious as the head?

with the right method, you can make this into an enjoyable snacks too!! i remember making them and leaving it in the fridge then my housemate thought it was cucumber - she totally snacked on them until she realized it was broccoli stem🤣

option 1: eat it raw!! you don't even need to marinade the stem with any seasoning 🤪 just dip them in sauce and eat it like a carrot or cucumber 🍽️🥦

option 2: stir fry with garlic 🧄 you can marinade your broccoli stem with oyster sauce and soysauce with the garlic combo.

option 3: airfry or bake it🌡️ u can turn them into fries by airfrying/baking them!! it may not be the crunchiest but it is tasty eap with dipping sauce!

option 4: deepfry it 🫣 with dry seasoning, coat it with batter and deepfry it just like a tempura 🍤🤤

you can experiment different types of cut, seasoning and ways of cooking to find your favourite way of eating broccoli stems 🥦 to help reduce food waste 🥰
