My Faux Freckle Routine

In my opinion, every season is the season for faux freckles! I’m currently obsessed with adding them onto my makeup looks! They make my makeup look so much more natural and realistic. Here’s my technique for achieving the perfect fake freckles!

I start with a reddish brown freckle tent. This one is from Jason Wu Beauty. It has a sheer coverage, which makes it perfect for our “base” of freckles! I apply a ton of freckles using this product across my cheeks and nose, making sure to tap them out with my finger. The brush tip applicator makes using this product so easy!

Next, I use a freckle pen that’s a literally under $2! It’s from Relove by Revolution and it’s perfect for adding more dimension to our freckles! This one comes with a felt tip applicator and drier formula, which makes it perfect for “accent freckles” and beauty marks! I applied a generous amount of freckles and beauty marks with this pen, without blending them out!
