For Birthday Celebrations (Part 2)

Featuring some of my personal fav restaurants for birthday meals (Part 2)! ✨

1. Um Yong Baek (Korean Restaurant)

Food🥩: they offer 3-way aged pork for dinner menu & Busan style rice soup and korean pork for lunch menu. I went for their dinner as I wanted to try their KBBQ and no regrets. The pork literally melted in my mouth and it was grilled to perfection. YOU NEED TO TRY THIS!!!

Vibes✨: had a private room (reserved 1 month ahead) and I loved that the interior boasts classy vibes & they help to grill the meat and teach you help to eat with different sauces (like a tasting session haha)😜

What I recommend🤤: truffle duxelles yangsongi gui, Aging pork belly, Aging pork collar

2. Blu Kouzina (Greek Mediterranean Restaurant)

Food🥙: indulge in the comfort of Greek food such as pitas with dips & grilled seafood. I love the grilled octopus as it was fresh and soft. the pitas went well with the dips (hummus, tzatziki). If you are looking for a refreshing dip, tzatziki is the way to go! I also ordered salad here that came w 2 big fat Burratas but not worth HAHA

Vibes✨: the interior was dimly lit and very happening (quite noisy bc it’s v crowded) but overall it has a very happy & enjoyable aura ~ service was fast too and attentive.

What I recommend🤤: book in advance! Grilled Octopus, Pitas, Hummus, tzatziki dip

3. Publico (Italian Restaurant)

Food🍝: one of my fav Italian place for pasta and pizza!! Burrata pizza was very well balanced and not too jelak while their pastas are served al dente & flavourful.

Vibes✨: brightly lit environment, feels relaxing & comfortable

What I recommend🤤: Burrata pizza, fried calamari

4. Jypsy One Fullerton (Contemporary Jap Restaurant)

Food🍱🍣: Asian fusion restaurant style. Asari clam spaghetti was a simple yet flavourful dish. Kombu clam broth is sweet and light. Salmon tacos really wowed me and I really love the idea of salmon in a seaweed taco shell

Vibes✨: ROMANTIC!!! along Fullerton Bay. Nice view and cool ambience but service is very slow :(

What I recommend🤤: Asari clam spaghetti, Salmon Tacos, Wild Berry kombucha
