Delightful Italian Misi: A Culinary Journey in NYC

In the beginning, we decided to try out a popular restaurant and explore their menu. We had heard great things about their Italian cuisine, especially their appetizers and pasta dishes. Excited and hungry, we eagerly placed our order, starting with their highly recommended Crostini, known to be their signature appetizer.

Appetizer: We ordered their most popular Crostini. The thick layer of whipped ricotta cheese on freshly baked bread is absolutely amazing. It is served with a plate of roasted persimmons. The combination is not at all greasy, and I feel like I could finish all three by myself.

Main Course: We ordered Spaghetti with littleneck clams. The Spaghetti is really delicious! I've seen many people say that their pasta is too salty, but the one I had was perfectly seasoned. The clams were also incredibly fresh without any sand. This dish is a must-try!

Sheep's milk ricotta filled occhi: I think Occhi is tasty, but it can be a bit heavy if you eat too much. After all, this pasta is filled with cheese. For those who don't want something too oily, they can try other pasta dishes. You can freely order any pasta dish at this place, and they are all delicious.

The restaurant has a simple and elegant style, and the presentation is incredibly appealing. It's perfect for taking Instagram-style photos, and you can also witness the process of making Italian pasta, which is quite interesting.

Both pasta dishes were truly amazing. The creaminess of the occhi conquered me the moment I took a bite, and a touch of lemon zest added another layer of flavor. It should be the best-textured dish I've ever had. The natural sweetness of the tomato sauce perfectly blends with the savory cheese.

Pistachio Gelato: I think it's average. The portion size of their ice cream is huge. One person definitely can't finish a whole serving. The only drawback is that towards the end, the ice cream starts to taste a bit salty. I wasn't accustomed to that flavor. But overall, it was incredibly delicious at the beginning.
