Obao：the Best of Vietnamese Cuisine in New York

Last week, I visited Obao, a famous Vietnamese restaurant located in midtown New York, and it was an amazing culinary experience. I had the pleasure of trying some of the restaurant's signature dishes, starting with the kimchi fries. They were topped with spicy pickled cabbage, scallions, sesame seeds, and Sriracha mayo, creating an explosion of flavors in my mouth.

Next, I tried the lemongrass beef, which was a plate of grilled short ribs marinated with honey, fish sauce, lemongrass, fresh chili, sweet rice wine, onion, and sesame seeds. The combination of sweet and savory flavors made it a delicious and memorable dish.

Finally, I had the pho bò, which was a bowl of thin rice noodles, thin sliced rare beef, and brisket in a 12-hour cooked beef broth. It was served with a side of bean sprouts, jalapeno, and a lime wedge. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the meat was tender and juicy.
