Perth Road Trip Itinerary (nature) ʚĭɞ ~*

My family loves aussie so we’re here every year! This year, we decided to drive down south even further !! Sharing my itinerary (nature landmarks) so you can plan your next trip here 🤭🤭 Will be sharing my food itinerary soon ~

You can choose to drive down south or up north! Initially, we wanted to drive up because we’ve never been there. But, we found out that you can actually see the Aurora in Aussie too!!! It is called Aurora Australis (how cool…) !! We tried finding the Aurora but we didnt managed to catch it :”( You can google to have the latest update and plan your dates to coincide with the Aurora hehe. Here are some other places of interest that i find worth going ~

📍Margaret River Mouth

I love the beach!! The beaches here hits different & the sea is soo calming! You get to see the point where the river connects with the ocean!

📍Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk

This is in Albany, which is about a 4hour drive from Perth. We paid $21AUD /per person to enter. Would not recommend this place if you have a fear of heights because you’ll be walking on a 70m high trail. Would recommend visiting in the early mornings / late afternoon because you’ll get to see Quokkas of you’re lucky enough !!!

📍Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree

Trees here are so different from the ones back at home! You get to climb up one of the tallest tree in aussie, 65m high! It is quite dangerous imo, so we didnt climb ~

📍Beedelup Falls

We stayed at Karri Valley for 2 nights, so we decided to visit this waterfall nearby ~ It was really pretty !!! Worth the visit if you’re in the area!

📍Hamelin Bay

This beach is beautiful !!! You’ll be able to catch the sights of stingrays if you’re lucky! Locals told us that it would usually be the late mornings of calmer and warmer days bc fishermen will leave fish bones that will attract stingrays ~

📍Albany Wind Farm

Albany is 4-5hours drive away from Perth, so its quite far !!!! This is a must visit when you’re here bc its something different !!!!

📍The Gap & Blowhose

This is a must visit, it is soooo pretty !!!!! We were lucky we got to see whales too ~ It is located in Albany too, but a further drive down! To see the blowhose, you’ll need to walk quite a distance but is it worth it ( my fav of the trip ~ )
