If you’re looking for your first luxury bag which wouldn’t empty your bank too much, you can consider this YSL Kate Small Chain Bag in Grain De Poudre Embossed Leather . This was the first bag i bought after intern! I got it last year, however, the price increased as well. It is now retailing for $2,700 in stores!

This is still my all time favourite bag (other than it being sentimental as it was my first purchase), it is vvv versatile! It can literally match anything.

Pros:

✿ super versatile

✿ classic piece

✿ shape of the bag is quite fixed and wouldn't go out of shape easily

✿ can be carried as a sling bag or shoulder bag

Cons:

✿ a little heavy

✿ YSL logo scratches v easily

✿ chain strap might leave a mark on your shoulder

Details of the bag:

- chain is 56cm long (perfect length for me, i'm 161cm!)

- 20cm x 12.5cm × 5cm

- magnetic button (love this feature, hate buttons that you'll have to apply pressure to close bc it might crease the bag)

- a card slot in the bag, so you can keep your most frequently used card for easy access when shopping hehe

As usual, i got it in silver hard with black leather! It was my first bag so i wanted a colour that could match anything and everything~ I got it in the small size and this is the perfect size! I can easily fit my daily essentials (cardholder, airpods, lipstick, car key, portable charger)! I really recommend this bag, it is so so worth it & YSL pieces always look so classy!

Tip: buy your bags from the airport so you get it tax free! (Look for Shaliha at Terminal 3 if you're visiting, she's the best best SA ever)
