a $30 film cam??

i love photography and wanted to get into film cameras, so my friend got me shutter up film’s film camera last year! here are my thoughts about it!

❌ cons: no flash

given $30, the camera is super basic and simple. there’s no flash so without natural, bright lighting, you can barely see the pictures after developing 😭 i would say it’s a huge waste of money if you take lots of indoor pictures because well they don’t turn out nice (or even visible 🥹)

given the pricepoint, i would say it is very worth it if you mostly take pics outdoors!

🌟 overall verdict: highly recommend if you’re just dabbling into film! if you want to try film out, shutter up is definitely the way to go; it’s so cheap 😭😭😭 however, if you’re looking to do film for long, i think you should invest in a good one.
