Why do people put red lipstick under their eyes?

Smearing red lipstick under your eyes is actually a super popular makeup application hack — and for good reason. That “good reason” is based entirely in color theory. Since red cancels out green, blue and purple tones, makeup lovers turn to red lipstick as an under eye color corrector before concealer.

For today's content, I'll be teaching you my makeup hack that I discovered recently. It's called "Red lipstick hack for dark circles"

First step, apply red lipstick under your eyes. An ample amount only where you can cover your dark circles.

Second step, apply an ample amount of concealer on your eyes and cover the red layer.

Third step, blend it until the red shade is hidden.

Last step, set it with a press powder or translucent powder to avoid creasing.

I do this everytime I have a shoot so my undereyes are hidden perfectly.
