Beginner-Friendly Water Adventure near Seattle 🛶

With a little over a month of summer left, it’s time to get out on the water!!

At Meydenbauer Bay Park, you can paddle board, kayak, and canoe to your heart’s content ☺️

Since the bay is protected, the water is generally pretty calm (and warm). So, if you haven’t tried it before this is an awesome place to start. All rentals come with a life jacket.

⏰ Before visiting, note that the REI Boathouse at Meydenbauer Bay Park is open Thursdays - Sundays from 10am to 8pm. While walk-ins are welcome, it’s wise to make a reservation ahead of time online. Otherwise, rentals are subject to availability.

Rental Prices:

-Paddle Board $29 first hour

-Single Kayak $29 first hour

-Tandem (2-Person) Kayak $39

-Canoe $49

+$10 per additional hour

🚙 For best parking, plan to arrive right before the boathouse opens at 10am. Aim for the spots next to the REI Boathouse and marina rather than the ones at the top of the park.
