My Love Story 🥰

Yes, I'm about to tell you the short version of my favorite love story, mine!

And I wanna mention that I always secretly dreamed about finding the right person to share my life with, but I never thought it would actually happen. Until it did.

So let's start.

In December 2021 I did my first-ever solo travel to New York City, my plan was to start traveling the world, and I was debating between coming to NY or going to Spain, and for reasons that now I understand, my gut told me that my first place should be America.

I was supposed to stay until February 2022, but I decided to extend my stay and it was when I met Vik. A little side note here: I always wanted to find the right person at a coffee shop. In my head, I would be reading a book when my soul mate would come to me, and we would start chatting. Guess what happened.

I was chatting at a coffee shop when Vik approached me to ask about my accent 😂

We became good friends, and two weeks before my flight back to Brazil, I suddenly needed a place to stay, and Vik offered me to stay at his apartment since - note here that we were just friends.

So I go back to Brazil, and a few weeks in Vik invite me to do a road trip on the west coast. So after staying in my country for 5 weeks, I returned to America for the adventure that was going to change my life.

We had a great time together and went on several adventures. Back in NYC, we spent a few weeks, and in August, the day before my flight back to Brazil, Vik cancels my tickets, and we decided to explore our relationship.

November arrived, and Vik made the most perfect proposal on top of the Empire State Building.

I said yes, we got married, and it was the best decision we made. There's nothing like sharing a life with someone who cares, respects, and supports you in your craziest dreams and also dreams with you
