Best spots to watch the NYC Marathon in person!

One of the most anticipated fall events of the year is the New York City Marathon! If you’re traveling to New York during the marathon, join the 2 million spectators to watch to 50,000 participants in person for one of the most energy-fueled days in the city!

When: Nov 3 starting at 8 AM

Spectators can watch from mile 3 to 26

Here are the best spots:

Brooklyn:

4th Avenue miles 2-4

4th Ave & Flatbush Ave mile 8

Williamsburg & Greenpoint miles 10-13 runners will be headed toward Pulaski Bridge

Queens:

Pulaski Bridge the bridge is closed, but you can cheer from the Queens side of the bridge as runners cross into mile 13.1

Manhattan:

1st Avenue - many bars and restaurants have exciting things going on the street too miles 16-18

East Harlem - miles 18-20

Fifth Ave & East 90th-East 105th Streets is where you can catch runners before they enter Central Park

Central Park - Columbus Circle to the grand stands is 500 feet before the finish line! If its full, they won’t let people in.
