This is one of NYC’s best gems located in Brooklyn in a former subway stop. The best part of the museum are the fleet of old NYC subway cars, many dating back to the early 1900s! You can walk inside and even see ads from that period inside of them!

Go to the NYPL Main Branch together for a fun FREE date idea! You can explore rare books together (you can set up an appointment in advance if there’s one you have your eye on), take a guided tour of the Rose Reading Room, enjoy coffee at the cafe, pose with Patience + Fortitude the lions outside, and don’t miss the Treasures Collection museum inside! It’s one of my favorite museums in the city.
