~Working as a Medical Assistant has been rewarding but challenging, especially with my own health conditions.

🤍 My Story: I started at a Neurology & Pain clinic gaining hands-on experience and joining an advisory board from where I got my certification. Despite my hard work, I was underpaid and felt stuck. Balancing my job with my health issues made it tough at times.

🤍 How I Felt: I felt frustrated and undervalued, but determined to keep pushing forward.

🤍 My Takeaways: Advocating for myself is essential (especially as a Latina Aries woman lol), and I deserve to be in a role where I can grow and be fairly compensated.

~ I recently put in my two weeks notice because I was given an opportunity with better pay and benefits. As what I put on the third bulletin, I was forced to give my two weeks early and was terminated the same day. I've been looking on the brighter side because I start my new CMA position on November 4th, and I'm trying to have a positive mindset.
