Key tips from xiaohongshu/ douyin makeup 💗

#douyinmakeup #xiaohongshu makeup is so iconic but abit of a leap if you’re following a tutorial start to finish! Here are some tips I’ve picked up that you can incorporate into your daily routine 💗

💗💗ROUNDER, BIGGER EYES💗💗

💗BOTTOM LINER

- concentrate darker colours on the bottom waterline. Makes your eyes more prominent

- leave a gap between your bottom and top line to make your eyes look rounder

- draw your liner further from your waterline to make your eyes appear bigger

💗TOP LINER

- extend your line horizontally at the corners, before drawing a wing

- this widens your eyes

- line the inner corners of your eyes, so they dont appear half-drawn.

- Draw this closer to your waterline

💗💗 aegyosal 💗💗

- apply light eyeshadow between your waterline and above your dark eyecircles

- use your brow powder/ neutral-dark shadow to draw a line and blend with a tiny tiny brush

- use concealer to go over the tip of this eyebag to bring definition back. Otherwise, your eyes will look sunken

💗 BOTTOM LASH

- drawing bottom lashes are a tough one

- get a rly fine liner. Don’t use felt tip brushes 💗CHEEKS

- Apply blush at the apples of your cheeks/ inner cheekbones

- Blend in a small, circular motion

- Blend toward your eyes to make your face look smaller

- Blending outwards/ downwards extends the appearance of your face

💗 GLITTER

- upper lids, between brows and eyelid

- play around to see how you like it to catch the light. Some placements makes your face look greasy/ overkill. This depends on the shape of your eyes and face

💗💗 BASE 💗💗

💗FOUNDATION

- apply thinly and blend quickly before it dries to have an even application

💗CONCEALER

- apply in diagonal strokes from the crease of your dark eyecircle to the tip of your nose

- after blending, dab a lighter shade to brighten the line between your dark eyecircle to the rest of your face

- this completely hides this discolouration 💗BROWS
