😗 skip this “cheap” popular seafood place in JB

Do not go to todak in jb... >:( overrated af

This place is supposed to be really good and if you're looking for cheap and good seafood/zichar.. you're not gonna find it here

Location: 1, Jln Dedaru 11, Kampung Teluk Jawa, Masai, Johor, Malaysia

Damage done: 885 rmb ($60/ea for 5 pax)

Environment:

The seafront is such a nice chilled down switch from Singapore! Rly loved it so much

Its super close to Singapore so when you're eating you can just use 4g LOL the local network didnt reach us there so we bought sim cards for nothing...

What we ordered:

Lobster in butter:

The lobster was deep fried and there was no sauce LOL we were all SHOOKT

Crab in black pepper sauce:

Super salty (which i love!) this is my favourite one heheh

Chili crab!

Sauce was super watery LOL kinda bland tbh but the mantous were HUUUUUGE

Fried rice

Portion was MASSIVE omg i loved it tbh but my friends said it was extremely mid.. one refused to eat it completely LOL

Beehoon

Kinda bland.. i dont usually like beehoon so i barely touched this. For the price honestly the carbs were okay but just normal zichar

Fried sotong

Super fking salty TT we died eating this

Sambal lala

The portion is honestly kinda small.. especially since some of the lala had no meat in it.. and the ones that had were really small 🥺🥺

We had 5 pax sharing this! We were stuffed af even without finishing the carbs LOL but there are definitely better seafood places in jb 🥺 this is the most well-known one but if ur thinking of getting some good super worth grub ull wanna skip this place 😳😳😳
