Telluride is located in the Southwest corner of Colorado and offers a variety of summer activities from hiking to mountain biking, shopping and festivals. While it can be a pricey town to visit, here’s three free things to do that will give you a feeling of the best this town has to offer.

1. ⛰️take the free gondola up to the top of the mountain and enjoy 360 views of the San Juan’s. Sunset is the best time to enjoy and you can even bring your dog on the pet designated gondolas

2. 🍄Enjoy a parade! Every August Telluride hosts the Mushroom Festival and on the final afternoon there’s a parade. People make costumes and walk or dance through town and it’s sure to be the most unique parade you’ve ever witnessed

3. 🥾 Take a Hike: there’s many trails that can be accessed right from town like the Jude Weibe Trail and Bear Creek Falls. These hikes will get your heart pumping and offer some of the best views of the town or lead you to a magical waterfall.
