🇯🇵 Famous Unagi food in Osaka is it worth the queue

This highly popular unagi in Osaka is where I went on a regular weekday around 5 pm, and the wait was about two hours.

Upon entering, the staff informed us about the required fee of 330 yen per person (apparently, it might be a service charge), and we were also required to order a glass of water per pax. The rice portion is consider quite alot, especially for females. It's advisable for females to share a portion to avoid waste.

The eel has many bones, making it a bit challenging to eat, but seeing many people eating it directly left me a bit puzzled, haha. Personally, I found the taste to be average, nothing extraordinary. In the same shopping complex, I would recommend the another resultant upstairs (Moritaya).

In terms of pricing, I felt it was a bit on the expensive side. We ordered two bowls of rice, two glasses of water, and with the added service charges, the total came to 7,406 yen.

Overall, I don't think it's worth waiting in line for. It's just a regular eel rice place. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to queue for it.
